The Faerie Chronicles Fantasy Photography Forum Artshow

The Cottingely Society is proud to announce the second biannual Fantasy Photography Forum Artshow! If you would like to participate, please see the rules below.

Thank you to all who particpated in the Orange Artshow, the first artshow! The art was incredible!

THE THEME
 
The theme is simple: "WHITE". You, as the artist, get to interpret the theme as you wish. Please keep your artwork along the line of Fantasy Photography. You don't have to create a faerie if you don't want. Other than that, go crazy! I can't wait to see what will come out of our creativity!

THE PRIZES
 
This is an Artshow more than a contest. So there isn't a "winner." Each participating artist will have their artwork shown in the FC Fantasy Photography Artshow Online Gallery along with their information and contact information. Each submitted piece will be judged by special invited judge. There will be ribbons for Best in Show, Most Creative Interpretation of Theme, Best Photography, and Best Costume. Each ribbon is a special banner you can place on your website to promote your work. Furthermore, the artist of the Best in Show piece will receive a beautiful 13X19 giclee art print of their artwork.

THE DEADLINE
 
The deadline is June 31, 2007. This is a bi-annual show, meaning we will have two shows a year, with different themes, so that artists have time to create their best work.

THE RULES
 

• Every forum member is welcomed to join. If you are not yet a forum member, visit The Fantasy Photography Forum to sign up. There is no age limitation.
• Each artist is limited to ONE piece.
• Your artwork must be photographic to some degree. Digital artwork must have a base of photography. The reason is simple: This is the Fantasy Photography Forum. :)
• There is NO entry fee.
• Your entry must be in JPG form, 72-100 dpi, 500px on the shortest side. Please watermark your image to protect your copyright. A simple "copyright by _____, 2006" will suffice.
• Please e-mail your artwork to DONNY@TIMEOFTHEFAERIES.COM by the deadline. Your e-mail must have the subject line "FC Fantasy Photography Artshow" so that my e-mail program can filter the message correctly. Otherwise, it may get lost in the shuffle. In your e-mail, please include the spelling of your name that you want displayed, the title of the piece, a short description of your choosing, and your website URL if you have one.
• The DEADLINE is June 31, 2007. The artshow will be live by November 11, 2006. The sooner you get the artwork to me, the sooner it goes in the artshow gallery. I hope to update the gallery as I receive the artwork so that I won't be rushed in November.
