The
Fall of Atlantis
Terrible in
their judgement,
the gods
were to
be feared
as well
as loved.
Greed
&
avarice
were
severely
dealt with -
not
in the afterlife,
but in this life. To
appease
the gods & pay due homage, our ancestors left offerings of food. It
reminded them of the debt they owed to Nature. History and lore is rich
with tales of what can happen when humans forget their place in the world.
