This is a quiet place.
In the stillness you can hear the song of the Earth as it spins,
And as you sit, you listen...
Really listen
And the trees start to speak
The wisdom that was lost
And the forest breathes with Spirit
Its breath warms your skin
For at last you have found your way to Faerie

Universality of Faerie
The
culture of
belief in Faerie
is a universal
phenomenon.
Every race has
its otherworld
entities, whether
they be nature
elementals or a highly organised society like that of the Celtic Tuatha.
Faeries across the globe also share startlingly similar characteristics -
a fact that marks them as part of the collective unconscious of human existence
and an undeniable force in our psyche. The rise of science and the advent
of the undustrial age saw the demise of faeries as a real factor in people's
consciousness, but they continue to tantalize and inspire.
